Individual Services

Building Environment Solutions offers you a wide range of services performed by trained professionals to ensure you the best solutions for your building.

Fully trained and certified services

Thermal Imaging
Thermal imaging is a non-invasive way of of providing leak and Moisture Detection to your walls, ceilings, and floors.  It can also be used to Monitor your Ventilation, testing to find all leakages throughout the building, from ventilation leakages to unwanted infiltration of air. Another use for thermal imaging, is the testing for any Missing or Lost Insulation that may be taking place throughout your building. Thermal bridges occur at junctions where insulation is not continuous and allows heat to cross a “bridge” to the outside. This mainly happens where the floor meets wall, wall meets roof, or in the corners of building. Lastly, thermal imaging is a powerful tool for detecting Electrical Defaults as it requires: No contact, No shutdown, it’s done in real time, and it is Safe & cost effective.

At BES our staff are certified thermographers with over 3 years experience and use the highest quality cameras on the market. We specialize in residential, commercial and industrial thermal imaging ranging from HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems, and complete building envelopes. We can offer services to assist you with any problem that may occur.

Radon Inspections

Radon is a radioactive, colourless, odourless, tasteless gas, occurring naturally as an indirect decay product of uranium. Radon is one of the most densest substances that remains a gas under normal conditions and is produced by the radioactive decay of radium. Radon concentration varies widely from place to place, it can range from 1 to 100 Bq/m3 above the ocean. In basements and enclosed unventilated areas within a building the concentrations can range between 20 and 2000 Bq/m3.

Radon is a gas that when inhaled can lead to lung cancer especially for those who is exposed to high levels of radon for sustained periods of time. All of our staff are certified radon testers and certified installers of radon mitigation systems.

Mold Inspections

Molds are a form of fungi that are found naturally in the environment, molds are found in the soil and dead or decaying matter. Molds come in a variety of colors sizes and shapes. Mold spores are found everywhere and when the mold spore enters your home through an open window or door it may begin to multiply. Molds need moisture and a food source. Good food sources for molds are cloth, wood, dry walling and insulation.

Molds produce spores, which are invisible and small enough to travel through the air and in to the lungs. All our staff members are qualified mold inspectors. No one would eat moldy food so why live in a home with mold?
